Introduction to PowerPay

Typically, a Youth Sports Organization (YSO) will have someone who manages all of the financials including collecting payments for ice bills, tournament registrations, uniform fees, etc. Often this work is done using a combination of spreadsheets, emails, checks, and cash--resulting in a complicated and often risky process. Until now.

Note: PowerPay is currently only available for users in the United States.
SportsEngine PowerPay is a helpful cash management tool within the SportsEngine platform that makes payment hassles a thing of the past.
  • Administrators can automatically bill members and view real-time data on their finances for unmatched confidence and clarity.
  • Parents can say goodbye to paper checks and endless bills with flexible, streamlined, and secure payment options.

Creating and managing bills in PowerPay is free. However, fees* are assessed when online payments are processed. For each bill on which an online payment is made, a technology fee plus a percentage of the payment amount is assessed as a processing rate. That processing rate is the same rate that is determined by what is set for the organization in the Admin Control Panel and is the same rate used for your registration transactions. BY DEFAULT, the organization pays the processing fees on PowerPay invoices. You can also choose to pass this fee onto the customer when creating a bill.

*Fees and rates may vary for organizations
